Ash Ali's choreo is GREAT! the teaching pace is fast, challenging enuf ^^
Malaysia seldom have great workshops like this. i dunno what to say but he has a great personality and he actually inspires me alot @.@ n now im so excited again to dance n dance n dance, plus... to improve my choreographing skills, thou i dun really have any skills. lol.
he says all dancers shud be humble no matter how far u get. i love this ^^ but i guess there are still alot of other dancers who dont get it. Althou he pointed out the fact that Malaysia's standard is way behind any other countries, its kinda insulting, but yet its soooooo true. Just compare the pace of learning in Malaysia's classes and overseas classes, u will definitely see BIG DIFFERENCE!! n sumore alot on Malaysia just gave up learning halfway if they couldnt catch up, instead of making themselves to follow up no matter what.
1 more thing which is encouraging, i thought he might have taken full time dancing course or diploma or sth so as to become such a pro... but he said he actually improve by travelling overseas for short time classes plus working hard on videos only. n now he can dance can choreo so well ^^ its really encouraging to me. as i previously thought only those who have taken cert or courses can do so well in dancing ^^
okay okay. last thing, Ash Ali praised me man!! omg @.@ so damn honoured. althou it does not sound like a big deal, but it IS A BIG DEAL TO ME. he said my steps are clean, just lacking of strength. that's enuf, i thought i messed up his choreo. lol~
anyways im so happy. hahaha i know i sound silly.

i'm trying so hard to catch up with the LA hip hop class i'm going to now.
the pace is totally on a different scale!
whee.. back do dancing (: at least ure happy kan? good good... keep it up! cant wait to see more happy updates especially dancing. :D love to see yew and ur dance cliques (: i think yew and ur buddies are SOO much better than other malaysian dancers esp in Kuching mann.. haha. trust me! if yew see them.. "sia soi" :P

hey elaine! happy for u that he got praised! haha. from wht i read, i can see tht u have a whole lot of determination which is very important in performing arts. keep it up and when u are down and low, just rmmber your goals and tht you have a Father in Heaven :)
